Hearts of Hope is a grassroots, 501© non-profit oraganization that has been serving Kane County and the surrounding counties since 2000 providing support and education to those affected by chemical dependency
Originally co-founded with unselfish love and dedication, Hearts of Hope was incorporated in 2002. Lea Minalga a co-founder, continues to bea tireless warrior along with the help of volunteers of Hearts of Hope friends in providing HOPE to those who feel hopeless in their battle with addicton.
Lea Minalga, Executive Director of Hearts of Hope, is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Lea has been nationally recognized and has spoken in Washington D.C. on several occasions. She has earned recognition as a past "Citizen of the Year". In addition to holding bi-monthly support mettings, Lea offers individual and family counseling at hourly rate.
